Project:               Theresa Avenue and Los Altos Drive Sewer Replacement

Description:         The project consists of replacement of an existing sewer line and laterals, storm drain improvements, construction of curb and gutter, grind, overlay and striping of the street. 

Location:              Los Altos from west side Rio Del Mar to Theresa Avenue and a portion of Theresa Avenue

Week of 4/23:     During this week we anticipate the Contractor will begin preparation for the re-paving the project area.  This will consist of grinding the entire project area which will make the roadway a little rough to drive on and will take approximately 2 days.  Once they complete grinding they will begin laying the asphalt which will take 2-3 days.  During this time sections will be completely closed, with detours in place.  Theresa will be done one side at a time to allow one way traffic control. 

*** Sidewalks will be open to Pedestrian traffic during construction.  Please proceed through the area with Caution.  There will be Detours in place.  Signs will be posted. ***


Project:                SR 29 / Napa Junction intersection 

Description:        The “Highway 29 at Napa Junction Road Intersection Phase 2 Project” (TR17-0200) consists of roadway and traffic signal improvements at the intersection of Highway 29 and Napa Junction Road.  It includes the addition of turn lanes on the east leg of the intersection and widening of curb returns at the NW, SE and NE corners.  As mentioned above, it also includes the unfinished City Public Improvements.

Location:             East side State Route 29 (Broadway) and Napa Junction Road

Week of 4/23:      Paving of the intersection is scheduled for Mon-Wed (April 23-25).  Please proceed through the area with Caution.  There will be Detours in place.  Signs will be posted.


Project:               Valley View Senior Housing

 Description:         Valley View will consist of 70 one and two bedroom units, for seniors aged 55 and over and Veterans.

Location:             Theresa Avenue between Eucalyptus Drive and Napa Junction Road

Week of 4/23:       Deliveries may require intermittent traffic control.  All work will be on site.  Please proceed thru the area with caution and watch for flaggers.

 Project:               Boys & Girls Club

Description:        The Boys & Girls Club will consist of a 14,984 sq ft building and will house multiple programs for the children of American Canyon including a Teen Center, Drop-in Center  and a community gathering space to name just a few of the amazing things to come.

Week of 4/23:       Interior work continues.  The Sidewalk in front of the project will be closed to pedestrians during construction.  Please proceed thru the area with caution and watch signs for any changes to traffic conditions.   

 Project:               Village at Vintage Ranch

Description:        The Village at Vintage Ranch is a 159 three-story townhome rental apartments among 17 residential buildings on 11.53 acres at the northwest corner of Silver Oak Trail and American Canyon Road. 

Location:             East side of SR29 between American Canyon Road and Silver Oak Trail

Week of 4/23:       Contractor will be working onsite Monday - Saturday.  Delivery of equipment and materials may cause brief delays on Silver Oak Trail. 

  Project:              PG&E Substation - Corner of American Canyon Road and Highway 29

Description:        Under contract, Coast Landscaping, will be planting new landscaping on the corner of Highway 29 and American Canyon Road near the PG&E substation. The "Welcome to American Canyon" sign will also be refreshed during this project.

 Project:               Jim Oswalt Way

Description:        This project consists of building construction. 

Location:             Jim Oswalt Way from Green Island Road to end of street

Week of 4/23:       Traffic control will be in place during work hours on Jim Oswalt Way, expect brief delays.

Project:                 Green Island Road Reconstruction and Widening

Week of 11/20:     Exploratory work may delay traffic briefly on Saturday's only for the next few weeks.
