Gold Key Property proposes a new two-story, 76,268 SF, assisted living and memory care facility at the vacant lot on the southwest corner at the intersection of Crawford Way and Highway 29. The site is 4.32 acres and zoned for Community Commercial. The proposed 82 unit project will include residential care, meals, medical oversight, recreational activities and transportation for residents 60 years old or older who need assistance with at least one activity of daily living. The facility will have 94 parking spaces, 6 bicycle parking spaces, and is considering a ride share program. The site amenities includes a fitness center, a green house, gardens, and spas.
The preliminary application was submitted on April 17, 2018. Staff anticipates comments to be sent to the applicant prior to May 17, 2018.
