PLANNING COMMISSIONER APPLICATION

WHAT DOES THE PLANNING COMMISSION DO? 
The Planning Commission holds public hearings on proposed development plans, conditional use permits, subdivision maps, and other land use matters, as well as proposed changes to the Zoning Ordinance, Zoning Map, and the General Plan. They assist in preparing amendments to the General Plan and Zoning Ordinance, and preparing specific plans.

PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS
The Planning Commission typically meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. Meetings are located at City Hall, 4381 Broadway, Suite 201, American Canyon, CA 94503.

Planning Commission meetings are televised live locally on Channel 28 and are rebroadcast the following Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.  Video is available on our website at cityofamericancanyon.org.
