The City of American Canyon is looking for all military servicemen or women who have served or are currently serving to participate in the City of American Canyon's Memorial Day and Veterans Day Ceremonies. Annual Spring Egg Hunt & Bonnet Contest Festivities
Joins us for The City of American Canyon's Annual Spring Egg Hunt & Bonnet Contest Festivities! The fun starts at 9am with a Chalk Art Contest sponsored by the American Canyon Arts Foundation. Participants can be between the ages of 4-12 and will be asked to decorate a stenciled egg with chalk. The Bonnet Contest, sponsored by the American Canyon Family Resource Center, begins at 10am and awards will be given for Most Edible, Most Original, and Most Beautiful Bonnets.
The highly anticipated Egg Hunt begins at 10:30am. Participants will hunt in the following age groups: 3 and under, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12 year olds. Brian Farmer of Farmers Insurance and AYSO Soccer of American Canyon will be sponsoring special prize eggs that contain gift cards and special certificates redeemable for gift baskets and other cool items.

The Egg Hunt will be held rain or shine!! In the event of rain, the Chalk Art and Bonnet Contests will be held at the American Canyon Boys and girls Club/ 60 Benton Way at their normal times.
Health Faire Coming to American Canyon!
The City of American Canyon is partnering with Napa Valley Community College, the American Canyon Resource Center, American Canyon Troop Support, American Canyon Relay for Life, and New York Life Insurance Agent Matt Stewart to bring you the Healthy-People Healthy-Planet Health Faire! The event will include various booths with valuable information on affordable health care, recycling, youth and adult fitness, heatlh screenings, and more! There will also be a variety of children's games and activities, special demonstrations, raffle drawings and great food!
When: Saturday, May, 11, 2013 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

The deadline to register for this event is Friday, April 12, 2013. Also, there is a booth entry fee of $25.00. Career Day at American Canyon High School
The City of American Canyon and American Canyon High School are hosting the First Annual Career Day event at American Canyon High School. Businesses are invited to participate! This event is designed to provide students with firsthand knowledge of potential career paths as well as provide business owners with an opportunity to network with other business leaders.
