Department Services
The Community Development Department provides the following services:
- Issues building permits and conducts building inspections
- Coordinates the review and approval of land use entitlements, including:
- Conditional Use Permits
- Design Permits
- Home Occupations
- Variances
- Signs
- Land subdivisions, lot line adjustments and lot mergers
- Grading permits
- Improvement plans
- Landscape plans
- Oversees the environmental review process for the City
- Enforces city codes
- Enforces City Engineer design standards
- Assists with economic development efforts
- Coordinates the residential rehabilitation program
