Winfield Development and Branagh Construction proposes a 268-unit apartment/short-term stay project on a vacant 15-acre lot north of the Canyon Ridge Apartments, east of Highway 29. The project consists of a Vesting Tentative Condominium Map a Design Permit for 10 three-story apartment buildings, a club-house, a 36-unit short-term stay lodge, 8 one-bedroom freestanding apartment units, and 532 parking spaces. The apartments are comprised of 64 one-bedroom units, 112 two-bedroom units, and 56 three-bedroom units. The project amenities includes a club house with pool and spa, community open space, landscaping, and a small leasing office.
A preliminary application was submitted on October 16, 2017 and received staff comments on November 13, 2017. The Planning Commission conducted a preliminary workshop on February 22, 2018 and provided feedback on the site-design and architecture. The design permit application was submitted on May 25, 2018 and staff provided comments to the applicant on June 23, 2018.
The application for Canyon Crossings was withdrawn on November 28, 2018.
