Gold Key Property proposes a new two-story, 68,324 SF, assisted living and memory care facility at the vacant lot on the southwest corner at the intersection of Crawford Way and Highway 29. The site is 4.32 acres and zoned for Community Commercial. The proposed 70 unit project will include residential care, meals, medical oversight, recreational activities and transportation for residents 60 years old or older who need assistance with at least one activity of daily living. The facility will provide 94 parking spaces, 6 bicycle parking spaces, and is considering a ride share program. The site amenities includes on site meal services, a fitness center, a green house, gardens, and spas.
The preliminary application was submitted on April 17, 2018 and staff provided comments to the applicant on May 14, 2018. The design permit application was submitted on December 21, 2018 and staff anticipates comments for them in January 2019.
