Fire Service Fee Board of Review
The District Clerk for the American Canyon Fire Protection District is accepting applications for one (1) position from March 18, 2020 – April 3, 2020.  Click here for an application. The citizen member of the board shall be appointed by the Fire District Board of Directors for a term of two (2) years.  The Board shall hear, review, and make recommendations as to reasonable interpretations of the provisions of the enabling Ordinance.

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and the Fire District Board of Directors will make the final selection of members.  The Board of Review will meet yearly (or as needed) on a date, time, and place established by the review board members.  Contact Martha Banuelos at 707-551-0653 for additional information.

History of the District
Services we Provide

The American Canyon Fire Protection District ("District") was founded in 1957. When the City of American Canyon incorporated in 1992, the District was maintained as a subsidiary special district to the City of American Canyon. The District's response area is approximately 15 miles in size and protects a population of 19,454 (not including visitors).

Bordered on the south by the City of Vallejo, on the west by the Napa River and on the east by Interstate 80, the District is frequently called upon to provide automatic and mutual aid to multiple agencies in Napa & Solano counties.
