Our City provides a wide array of aquatic classes at the Phillip West Aquatic Center, located at 100 Benton Way. Many classes are held on a year-round basis. The pool water is heated to 82°.
Our Aquatic Center includes a 25 yard swimming pool (capable of holding six swimming lanes), outdoor showers, chaise lounges, restrooms, and dressing rooms. We also have a shallow wading pool for our youngest swimmers. The wading pool is available during the Summer months only.
We have classes available for all ages. Check out our latest activity guide, The Playbook, to view the classes that are open now. Our special Aquatics Center Edition is available below. Register for a class by visiting our Parks and Recreation Office at 100 Benton Way or by clicking here. Scholarships are also available!
LEARN TO SWIM
We believe that everyone should learn to swim! Watch our award-winning video about how we work with the American Canyon Middle School to teach our community's 6th, 7th, and 8th graders how to swim.
Come swim with us! We believe that recreational swim is a perfect activity for your entire family. For safety reasons, we ask that non-experienced swimmers less than four feet tall swim within an arm's reach of a responsible swimmer 16 years or older. Children 13 years and older who pass our swim test may swim without supervision.
Our fees are as follows:
- 12 and under: $2 for Residents and $3 for Non-Residents
- 12 and under: $3 for Residents and $4 for Non-Residents
- Spectators: $1 for Residents and $2 for Non-Residents
